FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR RATING COURSE
The course of the Flight Instructor rating FI (A) is a course for professional pilots who wish to specialize in teaching aeronautics. Will be improved, especially the techniques applied in the cockpit, maneuvers designed to education and everything necessary to make instruction in single-engine piston aircraft. This course can start at any time and adapt to the student's time availability.
COURSE CONTENT
Theoretical
The theoretical part focuses on human behavior: psychology, learning processes, teaching techniques of instruction, always from the standpoint of teaching, which means it will focus on theoretical and practical training to teach by the future Flight Instructor.
Practical
Must be completed a minimum of 30 hours in real flight, which will be distributed at the normal operating preflight, taxi, cruise, takeoff, landing, navigation, maneuvering, emergency operations and radio communications, including always before each flight preparation and calculation of it, but this time taking the role of instructor since the first flight, sitting on the right, with the initial difficulties that behaves this new command post.
REQUIREMENTS
The minimum age to start the course is 18 years.
Must be in possession of an aviation medical certificate class 1 in force. This certificate is obtained through a licensed medical facility.
The applicant shall hold a Commercial Pilot License. There will be made at least 30 flight hours in a single-engine piston aircraft, of which at least five in the six months preceding the start of the course. There passed a specific access test with a qualified FI within the preceding six months.
