MULTI –ENGINE RATING COURSE

The multi-engine rating course MEP (Land) is a course of expansion or improvement for both Private Pilot and Commercial Pilot. Is required prior aeronautical experience, and the Private Pilot or Commercial Pilot license. With this rating can fly aircraft with more than one motor, a requirement for most commercial operations that will face the Professional Pilot in today's market.

This course can start at any time and adapt to the student's time availability.

COURSE CONTENT

Theoretical

The theoretical part focuses on the study of performance limitations and multi-engine aircraft and systems that have this type of aircraft, much more complete and complex.

Practical

Must be completed a minimum of 7 hours in real flight, which will be distributed at the normal operating preflight, taxi, cruise, takeoff, landing, navigation, maneuvering, emergency operations and radio communications, including always before each flight preparation and calculation of it.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be in possession of an aviation medical certificate class 1 in force. This certificate is obtained through a licensed medical facility.

The applicant shall have completed at least 70 hours as pilot in command and be in possession of the Private Pilot or Commercial Pilot license.
