To test the expertise of the instructor rating class multi-engine aircraft single-pilot CRI (SPA), must first have completed the course at a flight school FTO. The test includes oral examinations of theory on the ground, preflight briefings and post flight and demonstrations during the skill test in an airplane. The applicant for a test multi-engine flight instructor rating single-pilot CRI (SPA) will receive instruction in an aircraft of the same class / type that will be used for testing. The examiner may stop the test at any time if it considers that the applicant's demonstration of flying skill requires a full repetition. During the skill test the applicant will occupy the seat normally occupied by the CRI (SPA). The examiner or other CRI (SPA) will function as a learner. The applicant explained the most important exercises and demonstrate its performance to the student when necessary. Subsequently, the student will execute the same maneuver including typical mistakes of a inexperienced student. Applicant is expected to correct mistakes orally and / or, if necessary, intervening.
PART 1 It requires the applicant to do a class for other students, under test conditions, one of whom shall be the examiner. The time for class preparation will be agreed in advance with the examiner. The applicant may use an appropriate bibliography. The class does not exceed 45 minutes. |
PART 2 The applicant is tested orally by an examiner for knowledge of aviation Legislation, Aircraft General Knowledge, Flight Performance and Planning, Human Factors, Meteorology, Navigation, Operational Procedures, Principles of flight, training and management of content " teaching / learning " of the FI (A) courses. |
